She is involved with the\u00a0<em>End Bible Poverty Now<\/em> initiative because of her experiences as a Bible training leader in Australia,\u00a0Germany\u00a0and\u00a0Papua New Guinea. It was in PNG that she first realized the need for Bible translation and audiovisual Bibles as the community there does not read and has no Scripture in their heart language.\r\n<div>\r\n<p class=\"null\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rina Crochets a Parable\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/473039749?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\r\n<div>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Rina shares the process and story behind her project,\u00a0The Parable of the Sower.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Oral Bible Translation (OBT) course is part of the MA in Classical Hebrew &amp; Translation\u00a0Consulting\u00a0which\u00a0addresses\u00a0the worldwide need for full Bibles for oral people groups. Of the 7,361 languages of the world, nearly 45% do not have an orthography (a written form) and over 6,000 do not have a full Bible.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As part of the OBT course for the Parable of the Sower ethno-art practicum, students craft contextually appropriate\u00a0means of communicating\u00a0the story to a specific oral community utilizing\u00a0a media\u00a0they can understand and share.
