Imagine not knowing the creation story, el historias de fe en las Escrituras hebreas, o incluso el Los 10 mandamientos. Right now, millions of people have no access to the whole Word of God in their own language, most of them without any foundation of the whole Bible.

There’s a major barrier to every person having God’s whole Word—from Genesis to Revelation: Only 10% of the world’s languages have a full Bible translation.

The Old Testament is needed for New Testament translations. It is the Bible that Jesus, the disciples and Paul used. Without it, many New Testament references remain difficult to understand. On average, cada cuatro versos in the New Testament is a reference, allusion, or direct quote from the OT.

Churches worldwide are longing for the Old Testament and the biblical resources to disciple their congregations and transform their societies by the power of God’s whole Word.

We are part of a global movement of churches, translators, and Bible agencies committed to making God’s whole Word accessible to every person. But there’s a huge need for more translators who have the necessary understanding of Biblical Hebrew to translate the OT directly into a Bibleless language.

Whole Word Institute equips local leaders with biblical language training to translate the Scriptures directly into their own languages. By working from the original language, they produce translations and biblical resources that are faithful, lasting, and rooted in their cultures.

“Bible Translation is not only about producing text but about witnessing God reveal Himself. Through His Word, we see that from the very beginning, God has always taken the initiative to seek and restore humanity. When God speaks in our own language, His truth becomes near, personal, and alive. That is why I am committed to continuing my biblical studies and contributing to translation work—so that God’s Word may be understood, lived out, and bear fruit in the hearts of His people—through their own language, just as it has first transformed mine.” -Indonesian Bible translation leader

Serving with our partners around the world, our goal is to see OT translation underway in every language by 2033. Please join us in this commitment—toda la Palabra para todo el mundo.
