The first part of study is the School of Biblical Hebrew (SBH) in Jerusalem, in order to attain basic translation proficiency in Biblical Hebrew (48 credits). (See SBH page for more information.)

Upon completion of the SBH, while still in Jerusalem, participants may undertake additional semesters. Participants who have successfully completed the SBH will have completed level Gimel (level 3) in Hebrew. Participants who desire to complete the MA in Classical Hebrew will take one additional semester which will include completing level Dalet. (level 4). 

Those who want to qualify to become Biblical Hebrew Instructors will take a fourth, fifth and sixth semester completing levels Dalet, (4) Heh (5) and Vav (6) concurrent with additional courses: See below for sample course offerings.

Avant d'obtenir son diplôme, chaque étudiant est censé avoir lu la Bible hébraïque. Le minimum requis est la Torah (de Breshit à Dvarim), les 12 premiers chapitres d'Isaïe et 30 psaumes sélectionnés.
